The first stage of the individual tank biathlon of the 2017 International Army Games is under way in Alabino, near Moscow. Teams from seven countries are taking part in the games, which were first held in 2015. They will compete in 28 different disciplines, including contests with tanks, snipers, and various air and sea disciplines.
The annual military competition has been held since 2015 on the initiative of the Russian Defence Ministry and has expanded ever since.
