It’s said that Jinan, the capital city of east China’s Shandong Province, is home to 72 springs scattered across the city. Hence, it is known as the “City of Springs.” The most renowned of those springs is Baotu Spring, which spouts day and night to a height of a dozen feet at its best. Fed by underground limestone waters through three outlets, the spring’s water temperature remains at 18 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
