  1. I remember under labour inflation hit 17.95% and mortgage rate was 18.5% food, fuel and energy prices hit the roof. The country was bankrupt and there was no pandemic and no war in Europe.
    Some people have short memories. The then labour government didn’t give any help we just had to get on with life as best we could.
