    A herd of wild Asian elephants has embarked on a journey northward since last March. They have already marched over 500 kilometers north from their home base in southwest China’s Yunnan Province. Local authorities in the places that the elephants visited have all implemented comprehensive response plans to ensure the safety of both the residents and the elephants.
