A ceremony marks the start of the Olympic flame display, which will be opened to the public from September 1 at the Japanese Olympic Museum, next to the new National Stadium built for the Games.
The flame arrived in Japan from Greece on March 20, four days before the games were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
