Health Secretary Matt Hancok will once again face Urgent Questions related to coronavirus in the House of Commons.
The total number of excess deaths in the UK was over 53,000 in early May, according to the latest data released by the Office for National Statistics.
This means that during the coronavirus outbreak, from the start of March to the first week of May, there were 53,101 more deaths than the average for this period in the previous five years.
