(Jan. 5) Live from a polling station in Atlanta for two runoff elections for U.S. Senate: Republican David Perdue vs. Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican Kelly Loeffler vs. Democrat Raphael Warnock.

If both Democrats are successful the Senate will be split 50-50 along party lines, with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris providing the tie-breaking vote. Republicans will otherwise maintain their majority in the chamber.
