As for Afghanistan, during wars from 1990 to 2001, the artifacts in the National Museum were severely damaged. To protect them, the Afghan government decided to relocate them, and it wasn’t until 2003 that they were retrieved by archaeologists. Since 2016, the treasures have been exhibited around the world, in countries such as China, France, Italy, the Netherlands, the U.S., Australia and Japan. Also Chinese museums have been displaying these ancient cultural treasures from Afghanistan with the aim of protecting them before they are shipped to another country for exhibition. Zmaryali Abasin, our reporter takes us on a tour around the museum, showing us some major elements/collections to shed light on the significance of preserving ancient civilizations between countries, especially in the war time, and how respecting different civilizations is the key to maintaining its diversity and sustaining humanity. #CultureConnect

It has a seat on the UN security council and is the world’s fourth most wealthy country with a high standard of living and strong cultural identity.
Italy is a republic in central Europe which forms a peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea as well as bordering France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia. The islands of Sardinia and Sicily form part of the main territory of Italy. Italy is part of the Eurozone, having entered the common currency on 1st January 1999.
The capital, Rome, is home to the Vatican as well as landmark art and ancient ruins. Other major cities include Florence, with Renaissance masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s “David” and Brunelleschi’s Duomo; Venice, the city of canals; and Milan, Italy’s fashion capital.
Japan is an island country in East Asia located in the northwest Pacific Ocean. Part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, Japan comprises an archipelago of 6,852 islands covering 377,975 square kilometers (145,937 sq mi); the country’s five main islands, from north to south, are Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa. Tokyo is Japan’s capital and largest city.
Japan is divided into 47 administrative prefectures and eight traditional regions. The Greater Tokyo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in the world, with more than 37.4 million residents.

The Netherlands, informally Holland, is a country primarily located in Western Europe and partly in the Caribbean, forming the largest constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. In Europe, it consists of 12 provinces that border Germany to the east, Belgium to the south, and the North Sea to the northwest, with maritime borders in the North Sea with those countries and the United Kingdom. In the Caribbean, it consists of three special municipalities: the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. The country’s official language is Dutch, with West Frisian as a secondary official language in the province of Friesland, and English and Papiamentu as secondary official languages in the Caribbean Netherlands. Dutch Low Saxon and Limburgish are recognised regional languages (spoken in the east and southeast respectively), while Sinte Romani and Yiddish are recognised non-territorial languages.
