About 40,000 black-headed gulls have arrived in Kunming, capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province, from Russia’s Siberia region. The number has beaten all previous records, according to the Kunming Municipal Forestry and Grassland Bureau and the Kunming Ornithological Society.
