Live: A pair of bald eagles nest at Big Bear Lake in California – Ep. 9

CGTN published this video item, entitled “Live: A pair of bald eagles nest at Big Bear Lake in California – Ep. 9” – below is their description.

A pair of bald #eagles was found nesting on a 145-feet Jeffrey pine tree in California’s Big Bear Lake. Jackie and Shadow laid their first egg on February 8, and the second clutch was laid three days later. Since then, they have been protecting and incubating the eggs.

Sadly, the chick in the first egg appears to have stopped moving, but Jackie and Shadow are continuing to diligently care for the second.

This live feed is owned and operated by the Friends of Big Bear Valley (FOBBV), a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of the 24-kilometer Big Bear Valley.
