Amy Morgan, 37, from Northampton, decided to surprise her daughter Esmae, 9, as she returned home from school. Footage shows the youngster walk through the front door and into the lounge, oblivious to the young Yorkshire Terrier puppy lying on the sofa. But after being told to ‘look around’ the room, she spots the small dog nestled in a blanket and almost immediately bursts into tears. Amy had previously refused to get dog for Esmae, but said she changed her mind about the puppy to give Esmae some distraction as her baby brother was going into hospital.
