CGTN collected and recorded the natural sounds of the South China Sea along the coast stretching from Hainan Province to Guangdong Province and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. We launch this special audio and video series, “Listen to the Sounds of the South China Sea,” to bring you a pure and natural sound-and-picture experience.

This episode showcases the natural sounds from Fangchenggang City in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Fangchenggang is on the shoreline of the Beibu Gulf in the southwesternmost part of the Chinese mainland’s coastal line. CGTN recorded the sound of waves at the beautiful Wanwei Golden Beach on Wanwei Island and the view of the Beilun River, a cross-boundary river between China and Vietnam. #TidesofChange #waves #sounds
