CNBC Television published this video item, entitled “LightShed’s Rich Greenfield on media sector meltdown after Friday’s margin call” – below is their description.
Some of the selling pressure in select U.S. media stocks and Chinese internet ADRs on Friday was due to the forced liquidation of positions held by Archegos Capital, a source told CNBC. “For the last two months, the number one conversation I’ve been having with fund managers all over the world was, ‘What is happening?'” Rich Greenfield, partner at LightShed, told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” Monday. “People couldn’t figure where this buying [was coming from].”
