The International Monetary Fund (IMF) started talks with Lebanon, as the country looks for US$10 billion in aid to try to solve its worst financial crisis ever. The economic situation of the country was already dire before the coronavirus pandemic, but the crisis is set to worsen as Lebanon is back into lockdown after a new spike in Covid-19 cases.
