Five years after Launceston’s Nepalese community formed its own cricket club, the team is enjoying having its own home ground.
Mowbray and Newnham are the northern Tasmanian city’s fastest growing multicultural suburbs, with many people relocating from Nepal and Bhutan.
The Launceston Nepali Cricket Club formed in 2015 and hopes to eventually have multiple teams playing in the Tasmanian Cricket League.
