Afghanistan’s next chapter: Taliban gain control of Panjshir Province

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, in a press conference on Monday said that the group has taken over Panjshir province.

Mujahid said that resistance forces gave ‘negative answers’ when Taliban tried to negotiate, adding that no civilian casualties were reported in the takeover of Panjshir.

“With this victory, our country is completely taken out of the quagmire of war,” chief spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said.
