Josh Ocampo was voted as homecoming Queen on Saturday evening. After being crowned at their Las Vegas high school, they decided to give a speech to thank fellow students. Ocampo pulled out a Pride flag popular with the LGBTQ community. They were told the flag breached the school district’s Code of Conduct rules. The student has now been reprimanded for their actions following the crowning, but some parents are defending the teen’s actions.
