A total of 1,500 cars have been destroyed in an overnight fire, and police say they’re searching for 3-4 men who were seen near a scrap metal car yard in Trenayr last night.

Firefighters spent the night battling the ferocious blaze, located near Grafton. Crews were called to the scene just before 6pm last night, the inferno burning well into the night.
