The death toll from the massive #landslide on Wednesday in the #Noney District of northeastern India’s #Manipur state rose to 34 on Saturday, with more than 20 still missing, according to the state-run broadcaster All India Radio. More than 250 soldiers, rescuers, and police using heavy equipment are involved in the operation, which is expected to continue for several days in rugged terrain.
