Labour: ‘Social media companies still too slow to take down lies about vaccines’

Channel 4 News published this video item, entitled “Labour: ‘Social media companies still too slow to take down lies about vaccines’” – below is their description.

Today Labour launched a campaign for a new law to stop fake anti vaccine news being spread on social media sites. Earlier we spoke to the shadow health secretary Jon Ashworth and we asked him what needs to be done to encourage people to take a Covid-19 vaccine – if and when it is available. We were then joined now by professor Heidi Larson – from the Vaccine confidence project, based at the London School of Economics – they aim to show that mass vaccination serves the best interests of the public.
