Kushner to testify about Russia links behind closed doors

President Donald Trump’s administration is at the centre of an expanding investigation into allegations his election campaign colluded with Russia.

In closed session next week, members of the president’s family, including his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, will testify.

Trump says he has complete power to pardon anyone convicted of wrongdoing, but insists the administration has not committed any crimes.

Al Jazeera’s James Bays reports from Washington.
