Kill, eat, live – meet ‘The Ethical Carnivore’

Ever wondered where the meat you eat came from, and how it died?

Well the environment journalist Louise Gray was so concerned she decided to eat only meat that she killed herself for a year.

In her book about it, “The Ethical Carnivore”, she details shooting deer, fishing for crayfish, and putting roadkill on the table for friends.

Is that worse than what goes on behind the scenes in every slaughter house in the country?

Our science editor Tom Clarke joined her hunting.
