Global News published this video item, entitled “Kiki the cat, missing for 5 years in Edmonton, reunites with owners in Ontario” – below is their description.
A family who lost their cat Kiki in Edmonton before moving to Ontario had accepted they might never see her again. But thanks to her microchip and a kind neighbour, they received the call they never expected…five years later.
For being lost in Edmonton’s harsh northern climate, Kiki had faired pretty well. She had a couple of mats in her fur, was slightly underweight, and lost an ear to frostbite — but otherwise, the now 13-year-old cat was healthy.
Sarah Reid has more on the heartwarming reunion in Ontario.
