The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Kidnapped child rescued by Russian special forces weeks after abduction” – below is their description.
Russian special forces have freed a seven-year-old boy who was kidnapped nearly two months ago in the Vladimir region. In footage released by the Russian Investigative Committee, officers are seen detaining a 26-year-old man who is believed to have taken the boy and held him in a basement since September 28. Footage shows officers cutting through a metal door to rescue the boy and arrest the suspect in the village east of Moscow. The operation was coordinated by Interpol after officers in the US spotted a dark web user with a possible link to the abduction. The child, who has not been named, has been reunited with his family, who say he is “healthy” and “doing well”. The 26-year-old suspect has been arrested. The motive and circumstances surrounding the abduction are still being investigated. Subscribe to The Telegraph on YouTube ► https://bit.ly/3idrdLH
