U.S. President Joe Biden will deliver remarks on Monday in Lexington, Ky. about the ongoing response to the ravaging floods in the state and visits families affected by the storm’s damage.

The National Weather Service extended a flood watch through Sunday evening for areas of eastern Kentucky ravaged by high water more than a week ago and said there’s a threat of thunderstorms in the region for much of the coming week.

His wife, First Lady Jill Biden, joins him as he also tours the damage caused by the flooding.

Ending his most recent COVID-19 isolation, Biden left the White House on Sunday for the first time since becoming infected with the coronavirus.
