Keepers of the Wild tells the story of Chu Wenwen, a young wildlife conservationist growing up in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, setting up an NGO to protect wild animals, especially beavers. Over the course of three years, she’s grown into a serious wildlife conservationist from a wildlife photographer. She started her work in wildlife protection and research on her own in Fuyun County in Xinjiang.
