Kate Middleton attends vigil for murder victim Sarah Everard

Global News published this video item, entitled “Kate Middleton attends vigil for murder victim Sarah Everard” – below is their description.

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton on Saturday attended a vigil in London for murder victim Sarah Everard.

Police warned that vigils to pay tribute and to protest about violence against women would breach COVID-19 restrictions.

Protesters clashed with police officers who attempted to disperse a gathering, shouting, “shame on you,” at officers.

A London Metropolitan Police officer was charged with the kidnap and murder of the 33-year-old woman who disappeared as she walked home on March 3.
