    The trial of more than 330 people linked to the Calabrian mafia has begun in Italy. But it’s already hit a snag, with the three judges on the case asking to be recused because of prior involvement in the investigation. Francesco Calderoni, an associate professor of criminology at the Catholic University of Milan tells The World the next step would be to pick substitutes, which will hopefully occur “swiftly”.
