Prime Minister Boris Johnson is bracing for a barrage of criticism with the long-awaited report into lockdown parties in Downing Street.

Johnson has received civil servant Sue Gray’s report on “partygate,” which is expected to be published before the prime minister makes a statement to the House of Commons. That is likely to follow his weekly question-and-answer session with opposition leader Keir Starmer. Johnson will then address rank-and-file Conservative MPs on Wednesday evening.
