Changes made to the “liquid assets” test — which measures what the Governments deems “funds readily available to you” mean some JobSeeker applicants can be denied their claim for up to 13 weeks.

For many who have lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic, it can feel as though they are being punished for having savings.
