    • China reported eight new coronavirus cases on May 15. Two were local transmissions, and six were people arriving from abroad. Meanwhile, the northeast city of Jilin has imposed further travel restrictions to prevent the spread of the virus. Inter-city buses and tourism vehicles cannot leave the city proper, but cargo transportation is exempted. Commuters must also show proof of employment before leaving the city. Jilin City has been under partial lockdown since Wednesday, after a cluster of COVID-19 infections emerged last weekend.
