Yoshihide Suga pledged to cut greenhouse gases to net zero by 2050 by pushing the use of renewable energy and nuclear power. He said technology would be key in achieving his targets, citing examples like next-generation solar batteries. On foreign affairs, Suga reemphasized the importance of strong ties with Beijing.
