Jakarta vote heads for run-off after heated campaign

Local elections have been held across Indonesia, but most of the attention has been on the race for governor in the capital, Jakarta.

The current leader, widely known as Ahok, is a Christian who is on trial for blasphemy.

He has failed to secure enough votes to win and now faces a run-off vote in April.

Al Jazeera’s Step Vaessen reports from Jakarta.
