It is a flawed hope to believe that politicians understand the damage they have done to individuals and businesses by the decisions they have taken on coronavirus says Sky News host Alan Jones. “You even have fools in the Victorian government saying that because they have had no new cases of coronavirus for the 24th day in a row, they are in reach of eliminating the virus. “Governments cannot eliminate a virus,” Mr Jones said. Mr Jones says while Victoria is now easing the lockdown, it “should never have been in a lockdown in the first place”. He also said South Australian Premier Steven Marshall is someone who “would struggle to get a job anywhere in the private sector”. He said Mr Marshall “plunged the whole state into lockdown last week over a claim subsequently proved to be a lie”.
