After a three-month closure due to Covid-19, Shanghai Disneyland, the biggest of Disney’s three resorts in Asia, finally reopened on June 30, 2022. Thousands of visitors eagerly waited to be admitted to the park, showing up at the gates at opening time to soak up the atmosphere. The theme park had been shut since March 21 amid a surge of coronavirus cases in Shanghai. The resort has now taken various pandemic-control measures, including limiting its capacity and keeping some of the attractions closed.
