    Israel continued to target the Gaza Strip with airstrikes on Thursday.

    On Wednesday night, Israel’s Iron Dome was activated to intercept a barrage of rockets fired by Palestinian militants.

    At the same time, Israel continued to fire at targets in the Gaza Strip.

    Israel has vowed to press ahead with the offensive despite calls from the United States to wind down the operation.
