Recent from The Telegraph:
The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Israel: More strikes on Hamas ‘likely’ after deadly military offensive | Dispatch from Jerusalem” – below is their description.
Israel has launched a major military offensive in the Gaza Strip that reportedly killed nine people, including three children and a senior Hamas commander, in response to a barrage of rockets fired towards Jerusalem earlier that evening.
James Rothwell, The Telegraph’s Middle East Correspondent, reports that further action is likely to follow in the coming days after the Israeli military vowed to hold Hamas to account for attacks on civilians in Israel.
The strikes followed a day of chaos in Jerusalem where Palestinian worshippers at the mosque in East Jerusalem hurled rocks at police, who in turn used stun grenades, tear gas and rubber-tipped bullets to clear crowds.
