    As Sydney battles a new coronavirus outbreak, the devastation of the new and highly contagious Delta strain is becoming more apparent. New Zealand has stepped up its precautions by giving provisional approval for the Pfizer vaccine to be given to children aged 12 to 15 years. Global health and infectious diseases expert Dr. Peter Drobac tells The World it’s not yet clear if the variant is more contagious among children.
