There have been two intifadas, or mass Palestinian uprisings, both fuelled by anger at Israeli occupation and oppression.

Some now see the beginnings of a third one.

Anger is growing at intensifying Israeli air strikes on Gaza, killing dozens of people each day.

And in an unprecedented escalation, Jews and Palestinians are turning on each other in mixed cities across Israel.

    Can this tension be contained?

    Presenter: Mohammed Jamjoom

    Guests:

Sally Abed – member of the National Leadership Standing Together, a Jewish-Arab social movement

Yossi Mekelberg – Associate fellow, Chatham House

Yaser Alashqar – Assistant professor, Trinity College Dublin
