Iraqi army claims victory over ISIL in Fallujah

The Iraqi military is claiming victory in the battle against ISIL in Fallujah.

Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi says although there are still ISIL fighters in some pockets of the city, security forces are now largely in control.

ISIL captured Fallujah in one of its earliest victories in 2014. trapping tens of thousands of civilians in the fighting.
