Iraq refugees who fled Mosul fighting spend Eid in desparate conditions

Many who fled fighting in Mosul between ISIL fighters and security forces are spending another Eid in desperate conditions.

Hundreds of them escaped from Mosul, where Iraqi forces are closing in on ISIL’s last stronghold in the Old part of the city.

Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith reports from a newly-built camp for displaced people in northern Iraq.
