Thousands of Iranians paraded with bikes and motorcycles to celebrate the 42d anniversary of the Iranian Revolution, which ended the House of Pahlavi’s monarchical rule in 1979, in Tehran on Wednesday.
Celebrators could be seen waving Iranian flags and hold banners reading ‘Down with the USA,’ while others burned the flags of the US, UK, and Israel.
Locals could also be seen treading on portrait of new US President Joe Biden, with one man warning the president, “watch this population, see this nation. If sanctions continue, the same nation, this honourable nation that has dedicated martyrs will support the system, the revolution, and the country.”
