Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, dubbed the father of Iran’s nuclear program, was gunned down by unknown assassins on Friday as he drove through Tehran, an attack the country blames on Israel, acting as a mercenary of the United States. The attack will likely complicate President-elect Joe Biden’s plans to re-enter the Iran nuclear deal upon taking office.
