As pro-democracy protests continue in Bangkok, Thailand, a surprising mascot has emerged: the yellow, inflatable duck. Originally used to deflect water cannons used by police at earlier protests, the ducks are now the symbol of the anti-establishment movement. Protestors have been marching with the aim of forcing sweeping reforms in the country: a new constitution, the resignation of the prime minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha, and the reform of the monarchy.
