Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Indonesia ramps up vaccination drive to battle COVID” – below is their description.

Indonesia which has suffered one of the world’s worst COVID-19 outbreaks has seen cases and deaths fall as its inoculation drive got under way.

Now 15.3 percent of its population has been fully vaccinated and the aim is to get 74 percent of people jabbed by the end of this year.

That means reaching people in the remotest parts of the vast archipelago.

Al Jazeera’s Jessica Washington reports from Jakarta, Indonesia.
