Farmers in Indonesia’s Central Java are struggling with flooding that has destroyed close to $2m worth of crops.

They blame authorities for land degradation in the area as they are left to deal with thousands of hectares of damaged farmland.

Farmers and environmentalists say land degradation is to blame for the worsening flooding.

Al Jazeera’s Jessica Washington reports from Jakarta.
