The death toll from a 6.2 magnitude earthquake on Indonesia’s Sulawesi island has jumped to over 80, the country’s disaster mitigation agency said on January 18, 2021. The previous day, a woman was rescued after surviving for 2 days underneath rubble. The powerful January 15 quake left more than 740 people injured and over 20,000 displaced.
