Indonesia bans single-use plastic bags

One of the world’s biggest contributors to plastic pollution, Indonesia, has banned single-use plastic bags.
Increased online shopping and takeaway food during the pandemic have added to the mountain of waste.
And as Al Jazeera’s Jessica Washington reports, landfills are now almost full.
