U.S. President Joe Biden has unveiled the much-talked-about Indo-Pacific Economic Framework during his first Asia tour. What is this new pact? And how does it differ from previous and existing free trade agreements? Biden also caused a stir over U.S. policy on China’s Taiwan.

Guests in this edition are Dr. Zhao Hai, research fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Benoit Hardy-Chartrand, adjunct professor of political science and international affairs at Temple University, Japan and Professor Robert Kelly from the Department of Political science at Pusan National University.
