India reported a decline in new coronavirus cases on Monday but daily deaths remained above 4,000. Experts warned the figures could be much higher due to a lack of testing, especially in rural areas.

Meanwhile, international efforts are underway to help the country. Germany has sent an oxygen generation plant that is able to provide 400,000 litres of oxygen a day.
